Hi! I’m Caly, a budding fashion designer, self-published author, connoisseur of all things craft-related.

Calysta’s Curios was conceptualized in 2017 when I decided to make and sell handmade frilly knitted scarves at a local YMCA craft fair. As a college student, I decided to put my knowledge and skills to the test, and made my idea a reality and created Calysta’s Curios and Clothier in March of 2025!

I’ve always been in love with creating things, and have dabbled in welding and soldering for jewelry making, weaving, knitting, and - of course - sewing! In high school, I let my creativity soar as the lead costumer for over 17 of my school’s productions!

In addition to my physical manifestations of creativity, I have published two books. In 2023, The Teenage Gothic, a poetry collection that stemmed from an English class on gothic literature. And, in 2024, Go West Young Woman, which is a tale that chronologies the gap year that I spent exploring two dude ranches on separate ends of the United States.

At the moment, my goal is to work on my business and create meaningful pieces predominately inspired by Western Americana, other historical outfits, fantasy stories and characters, and other random things that I dream up!
